In late August, USCIS implemented a new electronic system for individuals to deposit filing fees. This system will enable a U.S. bank account to act as an electronic debit, directly sending the required amount to the USCIS. To use this method, individuals can fill out Form G-1650 at the following link to authorize ACH transactions: https://www.uscis.gov/g-1650

Using a credit card by filing Form G-1450 will still be a payment option. However, paper checks and money order payments will not be accepted after Oct. 28, 2025. Read here to learn more: https://www.uscis.gov/newsroom/news-releases/uscis-to-modernize-fee-payments-with-electronic-funds
