The Diversity Immigrant Visa Program, also known as DV Lottery or Green Card Lottery is accepting applications from October 5, 2022; and closing on Tuesday November 8, 2022 for the year of 2024.


Here are some quick snippets of what we think you should know…

What is a Green Card?

• A Green Card is a Permanent Resident Card in the United States.

• The Permanent Resident Card will allow you to authoritatively work and live in the United States. Also, you will be granted rights and responsibilities of a U.S. citizen.


The Diversity Immigrant Visa Program (Also known as the Green Card Lottery)

• 55,000 applications will be granted a Diversity Immigrant Visa every fiscal year.

• Immigrant visas/green cards are issued randomly.
