Anderson and Associates' Founder and Managing Principal, Yen-Yi Anderson, Esq., was honored with the 2024 Epiq Women Award for Justice and Advocacy at the New York City Bar Association’s 5th International Law Conference on the Status of Women. The award, presented on International Women's Day, acknowledges women's achievements and the role of legal professionals in supporting women.

Yen-Yi's leadership as a female law firm leader, providing pro-bono legal services for asylum seekers amidst challenging immigration circumstances, was recognized as an extraordinary service to the international community of women. The NYC Bar Association's United Nations Committee Chairwoman, Catherine van Kampen, presented the award.

“I'm humbled and honored to receive this award. So many mentors have helped me along the way, and I'm thankful that I can use my talents to help other women—especially those who are downtrodden or in critical times of need!”

In addition to the awards ceremony, the conference celebrated "the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women." Other distinguished award recipients included current and former judges, non-profit CEOs and directors, human rights advocates, and genocide survivors.

After the banquet, celebratory remarks, and calls to action, Yen-Yi was able to network with high-ranking women officials, discussing key issues that women are facing around the world.
